Bryan Clauser, The NINJA — from Nocturnal

Hello Fellow Junkies!

It probably will come as no surprise to any of you that I am a major Sigler Junkie.   I have been addicted to the FDO’s stories since he was just ”Scott” – long before he was promoted to the Generalisimo!

Earthcore, Ancestor, Infected, The Rookie — I have been hooked all along.

And now — Nocturnal!

I love the story of The Ninja, Pookie and Marie’s Children — just like you

I have been craving my hits of Nocturnal every week — just like you

I wait every week for my next hit – just like you.

Unlike you, though, I’m a week ahead!  ;)

So when Scott sent me Episode #36 and asked me to draw a picture of The Ninja, I was totally jazzed.

Did you wonder what Bryan Clauser was drawing on the mask in Episode #35?

Here ya go –

I hope you like the drawing.  I KNOW you’re gonna LOVE Nocturnal #36!

Please let us know what you think.  Would you like to see NOCTURNAL, the Comic?

Hmmmm?

See ya soon.

Mark

PS – If all of this “Junkie”, “Generalisimo!” and “Ninja” talk means nothing to you — You are probably here because you love Black Jack Justice.  Don’t worry — we’re not totally crazy.  It will all make sense (somewhat) if you visit http://www.scottsigler.com/

PPS — I’ve read Contagious, too.  Jealous yet?

Nice depiction. Thanks for the pre-launch art. I’m looking forward to more. Now…how about a bonus piece of the Red Panda?

Mark Hester @ 10:44 pm

BlaqueSaber,

Sounds like fun. We Love the Red Panda and Flying Squirrel and they are coming — rest assured.

Thanks for the kind words.

You LuckY Bastard!

Hopefully the General will get rid of you in his ascension.

Anyways, Cool art and YES I NEED nocturnal on comic! is is 4 real!

PAZ!

Mark Hester @ 9:54 am

Get rid of me??

That’s not very nice.

I’m sorry if some of the comments in the post above sounded a little “Smart Alecky.” That wasn’t our intention. The FDO and I were having a bit of fun getting this ready — despite being on opposite sides of the country. Much beer was involved and I was as surprised as anyone that the post was actually there and working the next day.

Reading it over — I probably wouldn’t have written it quite the same way — but whatcha gonna do?

I would have also make a great Pookie joke when I said I was excited. What a missed opportunity. “Totally Jazzed” Jeeze, how lame.

Blame the Blue Moon.

As for the Nocturnal Comic… Yes, of course.

Thank you for the kind words. This drawing was fun.

You’ll be happy to know that a Nocturnal Comic IS in the plans. I won’t be doing it — but I am doing The Rookie — with starts on the 16th.

Ooh! Good one! My daughters LOVE The Red Panda. I’ll be looking forward to that one!

Mark Hester @ 7:12 am

Possum (or Mr. Cowboy),

Thank you for the kind words.

We’re BIG fans of the Red Panda also. We’re DEFINITELY doing an adaption — just waiting for all the pieces to fall into place.

Over on the Brand New Black Jack Justice Blog I have posted a small drawing I did of the Flying Squirrel you and your daughters might enjoy.

Let me know what you think.

One more thing — You didn’t mention how old your daughters were, but I’m assuming fairly young. We are planning a ‘Sister Site’ that will do some ‘kid friendly’ stories. We not sure if there is enough interest (in Addictive Comics doing it — not the concept.) We will be asking for opinions soon, so please watch for it.

Thanks again,

Mark
